Thanks For Listening
2024 release. Thanks For Listening is built upon an hour-long vocal and drum improv session I recorded in 2014 that produced 48 tracks. As I developed the recording I whittled it down to 23 tracks (still arranged in the order they were initially written/recorded). This is one of the few times I attempted a Goodness Knows Best inspired improv session playing a drum kit as opposed to lap “drums”. The drums and most of the lead vocal parts are from the original improv (I re-sang most of the lead vocals, due to pitch issues associated with my playing drums and singing without any musical accompaniment).
Not Even Real
2023 release. Features the tracks Dissociative Reaction – Parts 1 & 2, Dissociative Reaction – Part 3, Almost Out of My Mind, It Takes a Long Time, and Sweet Child of Mercy.
Dissociative Reaction - Part 3 (single)
Dissociative Reaction – Part 3 is the second single from Not Even Real. This release also features the non-album tracks Could You Tell Me?, Now or Never, Happy Birthday (Wake Up), and six exclusive micro-singles.
Sweet Child of Mercy (single)
Sweet Child of Mercy is the first single from Not Even Real. This release also features the non-album track Eyes, Face, World, and seven exclusive Sweet Child of Mercy micro-singles.
Broken
The tracks on Broken started out in 2007 as improv based instrumentals. The recordings were aside and forgotten for a few years. They were then remembered and developed before being set aside and forgotten for a few more years. They were then remembered and developed and abandoned again. Eventually they were remembered, touched up, and mixed in 2021*.
*Not happy with current mix/mastering – hope to address this in 2024.
Dominions Peak Reserve
A collection of previously unfinished, abandoned songs initially recorded 2000-2010 and updated, finished 2020-2021*. These recordings feature the original lead vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards and “drums”. Recent additions include a fair amount of new guitar and backing vocals.
*Not happy with current mix/mastering – hope to address this in 2024.
Almost Real
Unfinished unreleased Album recorded 2007-2009. Includes the tracks Come in and Look Around, She’s Almost Real, Age of Amazement, My Imagination, I’m Just in My Mind, and Starting it Over. Currently planning on releasing an unfinished demo version on bandcamp in 2024.

15 Favorite tracks from once upon a time cassette only “releases”. Recorded at home on a Fostex 250 4-track cassette recorder 1983-1985. Includes the tracks Not the Same, Release Me, Standing By the Door, Different Touch, and Everybody’s Wrong.

15 Favorite tracks from once upon a time cassette only “releases”. Recorded 1986-1988 at home on a Tascam 38 8-track. Includes the tracks Only Dreaming, When You Walk On By, Only a Moment, My Love, and Head Full of Light.

Originally released on cassette in 1994 as “Acoustic Tape”. Includes the tracks Wedding Song, Into the Sun, Very Unattractive Girl, Listening to Isabelle, At the Wrong Time, No Lullaby, and Someday.

Originally released in 1991 under the name Vivian Section. Features the tracks Alice in Drag, At the Station, Charlotte Pretends, Never Comes the Day, and I Wish I Was a Fish.
